Gaza City facing water crisis, says local authority
Gaza City, in northern Gaza, and previously its largest city, is currently experiencing a “stifling water crisis,” its municipality posted on X today, calling for pipes and equipment to “save the city from disaster.”
“Gaza City is facing a severe water crisis that threatens the lives of hundreds of thousands of residents,” it said, noting that “60% of the city’s areas have been without water for weeks.”
