An airport is getting a major £540 million revamp, taking inspiration from the ancient city it’s in to welcome more customers.
Athens Airport was first opened in 2001 and remains Greece’s biggest airport. However, to meet demand, it is now looking to increase passenger capacity from 26 million to 40 million a year.
