Based on RC Sheriff’s 1928 play of the same name, Journey’s End has been made into a film five times to date.

The latest adaptation arrived in cinemas in 2017 as part of the British commemoration of the First World War centenary and has a 91 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes.
