An airport was plunged into chaos after a power failure saw flights brought to a standstill. Liverpool‘s John Lennon Airport experienced an issue with Air Traffic Control, forcing bosses to suspend all aircraft operations. 

In a statement issued this afternoon, a spokesman for the airport said: “Passengers, or those meeting flights, should contact their airline for the latest flight information. Engineers are working to resolve this as soon as possible, with updates to follow.”
