A cheeky cat burglar is tormenting a town by taking items from homes.

Black-and-white moggy Taboo has brought items including gloves, socks, pants and shoes as unwanted gifts for her owner Sandra Danskin, 62.

The night-shift carer returns every morning to find new offerings from her 12-year-old pet – and has to post photos of the items online so they can be reclaimed by neighbours in Otley, West Yorks.

She said: “We’ve had a mop head and kitchen rolls. We even had half a dozen eggs once…
