Tourists heading to a tiny unspoilt island to see an active volcano are being offered more than they bargained for in the shape of ice cream apparently made with “cannabis”.
Nisyros, one of the most beautiful and lesser known Greek Aegean islands, has its around 1,000 population swelled by daily visits of hundreds of tourists eager to see its steaming caldera.
Its four picturesque settlements effectively sit on an eroded volcanic cone sticking out of the Aegean sea.
