Growing older can be a worry for many people, especially if you’re stressed about your pension, retirement years or healthcare. 

But in some countries around the world, growing older isn’t as much of a worry. 

The World Happiness Report for 2024 looked at the happiness levels of people aged 60 and over to find the best country to grow old. 

While Lithuania was named as the best place in the world to be a young person, the results for older people were pretty different.
