The UK’s five major supermarkets have warned customers of store closures over this weekend. None of them are expected to shut entirely over the weekend but many will observe different opening hours.

Most shops will practice business as usual on Friday, May 3, Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 4, though this isn’t the case for Monday, May 6.

The early May Bank Holiday is observed in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, and means many people get an extra day off work.
