One in 10 adults has a ‘floordrobe’ – where most of their clean clothes end up piled on the floor, according to a study. Other unconventional ways to store clothes include a pile on a chair, in the washing basket and a suitcase.

A study of 2,000 people found 44% confessed to being guilty of simply chucking their clothes in a heap after they’ve been worn. Nearly nine in 10 (87%) even have clothes they never wear – because they’ve forgotten they existed, are too crumpled – or…
